Name for OnePlus TWS Earphones Revealed
OnePlus is likely to release a new earphones called “Pods” in the near future. This was discovered by a senior XDA Developers member, Some_Random_Username, who found the name in the Settings APK of the beta update of Android 11 for OnePlus 8. ..
We have learned that the new OnePlus Buds earphones will not be called the OnePlus Pods, but rather the OnePlus Buds. This is because the company has decided to change its name to OnePlus TWS in order to better reflect its new product line.
The OnePlus Pods are likely to be the first TWS earphones by the company and will be released with the new affordable OnePlus Z in July.
The following line of code was seen in the Android 11 beta for OnePlus 8 and is not a part of the final product.
As of now, there is very little information available about the OnePlus Pods, but they are likely to be similar in terms of looks to Apple AirPods with a long stem. The case will also be like that of the latest Google Pixel Buds. We can expect some fast charging with the device. The launch will be interesting to see.
