Open the Windows 10 Start screen and type “diskpart” into the search bar.
The Disk Part window will open and you will need to provide a path to your USB drive. In this example, we are going to use C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp.
You will need to provide a list of devices that you want to protect. In this example, we are going to protect the USB drive with three devices: an external hard drive, a laptop, and a printer.
