If you have an Android device and you see that your app is not installed, there are a few things you can do to try to fix it. Here are three methods:
- Go to the app’s settings and select the “installed apps” tab. If the app is listed as an installed app but it is not working, make sure that it is uninstalled and then reinstall the app.
- Check for updates for the app and install them if they are available. If there are no updates available, or if they are too old, then you can try to find a new version of the app on Google Play or another store.
- Try resetting your device or restoring your original factory settings if there is something wrong with how your phone works when an app isn’t installed properly.
Why Do You See “App not installed” Error?
- The file is not from the correct source.
- The file is not from the correct version of the Android system.
- The file is not from the correct device.
- The file is not from the correct manufacturer.
Corrupted Files
One of the most common reasons why apps don’t install is because of corrupted files. So, to avoid this problem, you should always download APK files from a trusted source and look at the comments section to see if anyone has had any problems with it. If there are no negative comments, then you can download it. ..
When you find a corrupted file, always know that it is not the original file. The corrupted file will have a smaller size, and some files will be missing.
Storage Problem
This error can occur when the APK needs all the files in the package to be installed on your storage, and a lack of storage will restrict some of the files from being installed. This can cause the error.
System Permissions Missing
If you have not given the necessary system permissions that are required to install an APK file from some unknown sources, you may not be able to install the file.
Unsigned App
All of the apps must be signed by a Keystore in order to work on devices. If an app is unsigned, it won’t work.
Incompatible Versions
If the app that you want to install is not compatible with your device, it will not be installed on your device and you will get this error message.
